Compared with the transmission of cylindrical gear reducer, planetary gear reducer has many unique advantages. Its most remarkable characteristics are: when transmitting power, it can conduct power diversion; At the same time, the input shaft and the output shaft are coaxial, that is, the output shaft and the input shaft are set on the same main axis. Therefore, planetary gear reducer drive has been used to replace ordinary gear drive, and as a speed increaser and speed reducer in various mechanical transmission systems.
The main features of planetary gear reducer transmission are as follows.
1. Stable movement, strong resistance to impact and vibration. Because several planetary gears with the same structure are used and evenly distributed around the center wheel, the performance force of the planetary gear and the rotary arm can be balanced. 3. The planetary gear reducer has small volume, small mass, compact structure and large bearing capacity. Because the planetary gear transmission has the power diversion, the central wheels form a coaxial transmission, and the rational application of internal meshing gear pairs, it can make its structure very compact. Moreover, because several planetary gears are evenly distributed around the center wheel to share the load, the load borne by each gear is smaller, and smaller modules are allowed for these gears. The high transmission efficiency of planetary gear reducer is due to the symmetry of the planetary gear transmission structure, that is, it has several evenly distributed planetary gears, so that the reaction forces acting on the center wheel and the rotary arm bearing can be balanced, which is conducive to improving the transmission efficiency.
